So nice to meet you, I’m Jane

I discovered Mat Pilates whilst pregnant with my youngest son in 2010 and absolutely loved it. My weekly practice helped my growing belly, my pregnancy aches and pains and kept me mobile and strong.

 

I've always loved running, skiing, tennis and lifting weights, but fast forward a few years and I started to suffer with lower back problems and endured a prolapsed disc twice. The sciatic pain was excruciating and left me not able to walk for 9 months at a time, let alone the handfuls of painkillers I took. My ligaments had stretched, my body had changed and entering my 40s, I needed to change things up.

 

By adding Pilates to my fitness routine, I really noticed a huge difference in my strength - my mobility was improved and the smaller, stabilising core muscles were getting stronger. Small movements at first, controlled and precise - building strength back up and to full fitness. I had 2 young boys by this point, I needed to lift them, play football and run around after cricket balls. 

 

As I enter my 50s I am now able to ski, run and lift weights with no back pain anymore. My passion for Tennis has changed to Padel ​but Pilates has enabled all of this to continue. 

I'm really passionate about the benefits of Pilates and love helping others find that control, mobility and alignment in their bodies. I work with so many women and men - Golfers, Tennis players, Gym goers, Horse riders and Gardeners - all of my clients want to stay active for years to come.​

Clients often tell me how much stronger and more confident they feel after just a few weeks.

​In 2020 whilst living in Switzerland, I decided to retrain and certified as a BASI Mat Pilates teacher. I love to learn and I'm continually added to my training.

 

In 2022 I certified in HiP Pilates, the Wunda Chair and Reformer Pilates, continuing my education with Lisa Bradshaw Academy and  Tracey Mallett Booty Barre and Pilates Next.

And in 2025, I started Group Strength Training with J Pilates Ltd.

I offer private 1:1 Reformer classes in my Garden Studio in Fetcham, KT22 and I can also visit you in your own home.

 

I teach Group Mat classes in Stoke D'Abernon, Cobham and Oxshott, Surrey, KT11 and my Core Strength Membership Online with LIVE classes every week.
